SEEDS PROJECT BRANDING
"Our goal with the Seeds Project is to encourage and provide financial support for Miami Valley Jewish students, from kindergarten to twelfth grade, to participate in Jewish programming, locally to globally, in order to create a sense of connection and pride in the Jewish Community."
OBJECTIVE
Create a logo, graphics, and a design guide for a new program being formed by The Jewish Federation of Greater Dayton
BRANDMARK & LOGO
The brandmark is a stylized illustration of an open pomegranate topped with a golden crown. Pomegranates are a symbol of righteousness, knowledge, and wisdom as they are said to have 613 seeds, each representing one of the 613 mitzvot (commandments) of the Torah. Atop the pomegranate sits a golden crown (also known as a calyx, the sepals of a flower, typically forming a whorl that encloses the petals and forms a protective layer around a flower in bud) which represents the future leaders and legacy the Seeds Project hopes to sow and cultivate.
